Ken Penske, long time President of Spring Engineers, has announced his retirement effective December 31, 2013. The entire team of Spring Engineers congratulates Ken on retirement, and thanks him for his steady and successful leadership of the Division.
Patrick Barr, formerly Vice President of Operations, will move into the President’s role. Mr. Barr has served in several different Engineering and Management positions in the Spring Industry since 1985. He joined Spring Engineers in October 2010. Our new direction can be summed up by our Mission Statement:
Spring Engineers of Houston shall pursue excellence in the manufacture of springs, stampings, and other custom metal products. This commitment will be demonstrated in our technology, quality systems, and response to customer requirements. We will facilitate the continual improvement of our team’s performance, to secure the long-term loyalty of our customers.
Succeeding Mr. Barr as Vice President of Operations will be Mr. Garrick P. Shanley, formerly Quality Manager. Mr Shanley brings 12 years of Spring Industry experience to Spring Engineers.
